LUXE NAIL SPA: Professional Service Policies

At LUXE NAIL SPA, we are committed to providing a safe, serene, and professional environment. To ensure the highest quality of service for all guests, please adhere to the following policies.

  1. Appointment Management & Punctuality
  • Grace Period: We offer a 10-minute grace period. If you arrive 10 minutes late, we may be unable to provide the full service requested and reserve the right to reschedule your appointment to avoid disrupting other guests.
  • Cancellations: Please provide at least 12 hours’ notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer the time slot to clients on our waiting list.
  • Repeat Cancellations: Clients who repeatedly cancel without notice may be required to provide a non-refundable deposit to secure future bookings.
  • No-Shows: If you fail to arrive for an appointment without notice (“No-Call/No-Show”), all subsequent appointments will be canceled. A $15 deposit will be required to re-book.
  1. Group Bookings & Deposits
  • Group Policy: Parties of three (3) or more require a non-refundable deposit of $20 per person.
  • Late Cancellations: Deposits are forfeited if a group cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to the appointment. In such cases, the deposit may be converted to store credit at management’s discretion.
  • Forfeiture: No-call/no-show appointments will result in an immediate forfeiture of the deposit.
  1. Service Guarantee & Refunds
  • Enhancement Guarantee: Gel polish and nail enhancements are guaranteed for five (5) days post-service (excluding accidental breakage). If lifting or chipping occurs within this window, we offer a one-time complimentary repair.
  • Exclusions: Standard nail polish services are not guaranteed. Repairs requested after 5 days or caused by physical trauma (tears, breaks) will be charged at standard rates.
  • Satisfaction: Please inspect your nails before leaving. If you are unsatisfied, please notify your technician immediately so we can make adjustments.
  • Final Sale: No refunds will be issued for completed services once you have left the premises.
  • Theft of Service: Payment is due upon completion of services. We reserve the right to prosecute “theft of service” to the fullest extent of the law, including police intervention.
  1. Health & Safety Protocols
  • Illness: For the safety of our staff and clients, please reschedule if you are feeling unwell.
  • Medical Disclosures: Please notify your technician of any allergies or medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, skin sensitivities) before service begins.
  • Contagious Conditions: We cannot perform services on clients with suspected fungus, warts, or open wounds. Services for such conditions require a physician’s written consent form.
  1. Salon Etiquette & Environment
  • Minors: Clients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Atmosphere: To maintain a relaxing environment, please refrain from using cell phone speakers or engaging in loud conversations.
  • Valuables: Bliss Salon is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
  • Pets: For sanitary reasons, only ADA-recognized service animals are permitted.
  1. Right to Refuse Service

LUXE NAIL SPA and its technicians reserve the right to refuse service to:

  • Anyone exhibiting rude, disrespectful, or aggressive behavior.

  • Anyone who consistently violates salon policies.

Nail Enhancement Aftercare & Maintenance

To maximize the longevity of your enhancements and maintain the health of your natural nails, please follow these professional care guidelines.

  1. Initial Curing Period

Please be exceptionally gentle with your enhancements for the first 24 to 48 hours following application. The chemical bonding process requires this window to reach maximum stability and strength.

  1. Routine Maintenance & Hygiene
  • Bi-Weekly Refills: We recommend professional maintenance appointments every two weeks. Timely refills prevent structural weakness and lifting.
  • Infection Prevention: Failure to maintain enhancements can lead to “lifting.” If you notice a gap between the enhancement and the natural nail, please book a repair immediately. Moisture trapped under lifted nails can lead to bacterial growth or fungal infections. Bliss Salon is not liable for infections resulting from neglected maintenance.
  1. Protection and Preservation
  • Protective Wear: Use gloves when performing household chores, gardening, or using harsh cleaning chemicals. This prevents lifting and preserves the surface finish.
  • Heat Sensitivity: Avoid direct exposure to extreme heat or open flames, as high temperatures can compromise the structural integrity of the enhancements.
  • Product Ingredients: Avoid using lotions, sunscreens, or tanning products containing Lanolin or Mineral Oil, as these ingredients are known to weaken the bond of acrylic and gel extensions.
  1. Natural Nail Health
  • Professional Removal: Never “pick,” peel, or force your enhancements off. This removes the protective layers of your natural nail plate, causing significant thinning and damage.
  • We strongly advise professional removal in-salon, followed by a therapeutic manicure to rehydrate the nail bed and restore the natural nail’s health.
  • Daily Care: Apply moisturizer or cuticle oil daily, especially after handwashing, to keep the skin and nail bed supple and prevent brittleness.

Waxing & Hair Removal Safety Policy

At LUXE NAIL SPA, your skin’s health is our primary concern. Because professional hair removal involves the exfoliation of the skin’s surface, it is vital that you disclose all medications and skincare products currently in use.

  1. Mandatory Product Disclosure

To prevent adverse reactions such as skin lifting, “burning,” or hyperpigmentation, you must inform your esthetician if you have used any of the following in the last 7 to 14 days:

  • Prescription Topicals: Retin-A, Renova, Differin, or Accutane (Accutane requires a 6-month wait period).
  • Active Ingredients: Retinol, Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA), Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, or Vitamin C serums.
  • Professional Treatments: Recent chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments.
  • Antibiotics: Certain oral antibiotics can increase skin sensitivity and lead to temporary “peeling” or sensitivity during waxing.
  1. Makeup and Surface Contaminants
  • Clean Skin: For the best results and to prevent follicle irritation, please arrive with the treatment area free of heavy makeup, self-tanning lotions, or numbing creams.
  • Post-Service Sensitivity: We recommend avoiding the application of heavy makeup or fragranced products to the waxed area for at least 24 hours to allow the pores to close and the skin to calm.
  1. Client Responsibility & Liability
  • Risk Acknowledgment: Chemical reactions and skin lifting typically occur due to undisclosed product use or underlying skin sensitivities. By receiving service, the client acknowledges that they have provided an accurate history of their skincare regimen.
  • Right to Refuse: If we suspect your skin barrier is compromised or thinned due to chemical use, we reserve the right to refuse the waxing service and suggest an alternative (such as threading or tweezing) to protect your skin.
